Out of a need to create. Out of a love for photography. That is how WoodenShop was born.
Our story began in 2017, in a small garage where the first products were made. Although really it all started earlier, with photography and wedding films. That is when the need arose to frame what we create in wood.
Today we bring the two together. We understand the needs of photographers and their clients, because we are part of that world ourselves.
Since 2017
Our workshop is located in the Lubusz region of Poland, surrounded by meadows and forests. What started as a small garage grew over time into a sawmill, a drying kiln, a joinery and a space where every stage of the crafting process has its place. See how your box is made.
It all starts with a log. We source our timber directly from the Polish State Forests. No long supply chains, no imports. We hand-pick the pieces best suited for boxes: knot-free, straight, with a beautiful grain pattern.
The logs go to our sawmill, where we cut them into boards of the right thickness. The raw timber then has to go through months of controlled drying. This is what determines whether a box will stay true over time. There are no shortcuts.
In the joinery every box is assembled, sanded and finished by hand. This is also where we add the personalisation: a laser engraving with your logo, a date, a dedication or a design chosen from our pattern library.
Boxes, USB drives, prints and accessories are packed together with care, so the parcel arrives in perfect condition. Turnaround is usually 1-14 working days, with no hidden lead times and priority dispatch available for urgent orders.
