Photo prints on original paper

Developing photos in our store involves choosing the right kind of paper. If you want to get vivid and saturated photos, it is best to make prints on LUSTER 230g paper, the surface of which is semi-matt. In turn, SILK 270g paper has a silky texture and is completely matte, which makes the pictures unique. The prints can be made with or without a frame; the final effect is adjusted to the customer's preferences. We want our prints to fully satisfy our customers. We use only original papers so that prints can last for many years.

Convenient photo development

You can order photo prints online, without leaving your home. We will deliver them to the address you provide, and then you can immediately unpack them and put them in an album, in a frame or put them in a wooden box. The developed photos are perfectly adapted to the dimensions of our other products, e.g. wooden photo boxes or cardboard packaging. Thanks to them, browsing photos will become an exciting moment for the whole family.

You can keep your prints in an engraved wooden box, hand made in our workshop. Also see our photo boxes as an alternative to classic albums.

What print sizes do you offer?
We produce photo prints in 18 sizes: from the classic 9×13 cm, through the popular 10×15 cm (4x6"), square formats (13×13, 15×15, 20×20, 30×30 cm), intermediate sizes (13×18, 13×19, 15×20, 15×21, 15×23, 15×30 cm), up to large wall prints and panoramas (20×30, 30×40, 30×45, 30×60, 30×80 and 30×90 cm). How much does a photo print cost?
The price depends on the size - the most popular 10×15 cm (4x6") prints start from £0.25 each, the classic 9×13 cm from £0.30, and large 30×40 cm prints from a few pounds. The more photos in one order, the lower the unit cost. The current price list is shown next to each size in the table above.
Where is the best place to print photos online?
Choose a lab that uses professional photographic paper (e.g. Fuji Crystal Archive) and Noritsu or Fuji Frontier machines - this guarantees colours that last at least 100 years. At WoodenShop we print exclusively on genuine Fuji papers (Lustre 230 g or Silk 270 g), and every order is checked by hand before printing.
What photo resolution do I need for a print?
For the best print quality we recommend 300 DPI - for a 10×15 cm print that is a file of at least 1200×1800 px, for 15×21 cm at least 1772×2480 px, and for 30×40 cm at least 3543×4724 px. Photos from modern phones (12+ MP) easily meet these requirements even for large sizes. We will also print lower-resolution files - we will contact you if the quality would be too low.
How long does an order take?
Standard turnaround is 2-4 working days for printing, plus DPD courier delivery to the UK (typically another 2-4 working days).
Do the prints arrive in a wooden case?
As standard, prints are packed in secure cardboard packaging that protects the photos in transit. Wooden boxes and cases are separate products in our shop. You can add one from the wooden boxes category and turn your prints into a personalised gift.
What paper are the prints made on?
We use Fuji Crystal Archive Type II paper (matt or glossy), guaranteeing your photos last at least 100 years when stored correctly.
Can I upload my own photos from my phone?
Yes, you upload your own photos from your phone or computer in the creator. We accept JPG, PNG and HEIC files.
